Jodie is a qualified Lecturer in both the Balloon Artistry and Floristry fields, throughout her 13 year Balloon and Floral career Jodie has been involved in many aspects of the industry; from running a home based business to working in Retail stores, Teaching Floristry and Balloon Art at a leading London college in City & Guild courses and travelling the world representing both ‘Qualatex Brand’ - Pioneer Balloon Company and Conwin Inc – The Very Best Equipment.
Throughout the years Jodie has been presented with numerous awards for her design work and teaching abilities some include; Decorator of the Year, IPHS 1998 & 2002 several 1st place awards at IPHS and IBAC for her Non-Round Sculptural work, ‘Best Training Provider’ 2004 and more recently in July 2006, Jodie & Dee jointly won ‘Designers of the Year’ at Ballooniversity in the USA!!
Her passion for this industry and Education has always been at the forefront of Jodie’s work and this is purely evident when launching with her partner Dee White, www.bezonline.com & www.twistingonline.com in recent years , both unique sites have been set up to continue their support to help growing our industry, promoting education and most importantly supporting the Balloon Professional! As well as her commitment to the Conwin Design Team, which she is very proud to be a part of, working along side professionals using the very best equipment in her work! And sharing her design ideas and skills which helps build the Balloon Industry which she loves! |
