Using an 18" 18 gauge floral wire, find the centre and bend over your finger.

Stretch an 11" latex balloon completely over the wire.

Secure at the base using a floral binding wire (usually between 28-32 gauge).

Open up the petal by stretching the wires from each side.

To create a strong stem push the petal into a balloon straw.

To cover the straw use a part inflated 260Q and wrap round the stem, when you have completed this use floral tape to secure the balloon so that it does not unravel.

To create the flower as shown you will see that the central stamen is a 260Q balloon that has been placed over an 18 gauge wire and pushed up the wire to create a ruche effect. Use the full length of wire with just the tip turned over so that it does not pierce through the balloon.

Using Neon Foam Wire, cur a length of approx. 24" then remove the central wire.

Cut the foam wire into 4" lengths or smaller for smaller flowers.

Thread the foam wire at the centre point of the foam onto the flowers stem as made above and push all the way up the wire. Repeat until all the foam pieces have been added to the wire.
