Tape the Pneumatic Exploder Air Line to the conduit. Leave approximately 3 feet of the line at the top of the conduit to attach to the large balloon topper. Attach a Continual Exploder and an Elbow End Exploder to the end of the air line.

Cut the tulle and plastic aisle runner to 1-1/2 times the length of the pole. Place the tulle on the outside of the aisle runner. Gather the two pieces of material together 1 inch down from the cut ends. Tie the material together with curling ribbon. Place the gathered end of the material on top of the conduit.

Secure the material in place on the top of the conduit with 2 quads of balloons. To build a quad of balloons, inflate two 11" balloons with air and size to 9". Tie the balloons together to make a duplet. Build two duplets and twist together at the knots. This is a balloon quad. Press the quad onto the pole. Twist the two balloons touching the pole together to secure the quad in place. Next, make two air-filled quads using 5" balloons inflated to 4". Twist each quad onto the pole approximately 12" apart. Pull the tulle to "puff" slightly above each balloon quad.

Fill a 3-foot latex balloon with a hundred 6-inch heart balloons using Conwin's Insider Balloon Stuffing Tool. Tie an uninflated 260 balloon to the neck of the 3-foot balloon. Stretch the ends of the 260 balloon around the top quad and tie the ends together to secure the 3-foot balloon. The elasticity of the 260 balloon will hold the topper on tight and straight.

Attach the exploders to the 3-foot balloon using a high quality tape (such as 3M tape) and detonate on cue.

On cue, press the detonator and WOW! What a special effect! The large balloon explodes releasing the hundred 6" hearts. For an added effect, fill the 6" balloons with helium. When the large balloon explodes, the 6" balloons will dance to the ceiling and slowly (approximately 2 to 4 hours) drift down among the guests.

Exploders
Conwin's new Pneumatic Balloon Exploders are safe, easy to use and are non-electric and non-pyrotechnic. Large exploding balloons are also great as balloon column toppers and over dance floors!
