Spotlight Artist: Linda Bruce, CBA

“My favorite piece of Conwin equipment is the Precision Air inflator. As a decorator, I do so many air-filled designs, and the Precision Air cuts the labor in half and saves so much money, too!”

Linda Bruce is no stranger to the balloon industry. In 1981, she started her own balloon delivery and decorating company, B & C Balloons, in Petaluma, California, and began attending balloon seminars and conventions around the country. Soon, she was teaching classes herself, throughout the US, and internationally, for Pioneer Balloon Company. Linda’s numerous awards include the prestigious Crystal Award, from the International Balloon Arts Convention in Chicago, and most recently, the 2007 Dottie Blanchard Spirit Award, from Balloon Camp in Las Vegas.

Known for her sellable designs and motivational presentation style, Linda’s articles have appeared in numerous Party and Floral publications, and she is a regular contributor to Balloon Images Magazine. Currently the Retail Education Manager for Pioneer Balloon Company, Linda is happy to represent the Very Best Balloons, Qualatex! You can see more of Linda’s creative balloon designs in the Master Series DVDs.

Sadly, Linda passed away in June of 2009 from pancreatic cancer. Though the industry lost a legendary instructor and a truly amazing woman, her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and through her students who continue to create balloon decor around the world.
