About this Design:

This is a truly beautiful design creates a stunning focal point at a wedding celebration. Ideally you should create 2 of these hearts that can stand on either side of the dance floor, cake table, entryway, or back drop photo.

MATERIALS:

• Conduit 5’ Length
• 5’ Heart Frame- these can be bought, pre shaped or
made from a length of Aluminium Rod.
• Selection of 5” Pearl Ivory, Pearl Pink, Pearl Fuchsia,
Rose and Pearl White latex balloons. The size of frame
that I used required approx. 220 balloons.
• 4” & 9” Fuchsia Microfoil Hearts.
• Silk Ivy
• Quality ribbon
• Organza or lightweight fabric.

CONWIN EQUIPMENT:

STEP 1

Secure conduit pole to the base plate and then secure heart frame to the pole approx 6” below the top of the pole.

STEP 2
Inflate 5” latex to 4” and create 4-balloon clusters. In this design I have created a semi formal spiral. I have consistently used 2 x 5” Ivory in every cluster and have randomly changed the other balloon colour’s, this will create a visually interesting spiral effect that is far less formal than the usual spiral garland. Always remember to start at the centre of the frame and mirror image each side.

STEP 3

Decorate Heart frame with 4” Fuchsia Hearts, and Ivy. I have added small bows to the base of each heart balloon.

STEP 4

Using a soft fabric, pull this through the base of the heart design and allow to gently fall to the ground, this will disguise the pole and add an elegant feel to the whole design. Using more 4” hearts and some under inflated 5” latex balloons, ribbon and ivy create a soft accent that moves from the heart to the base of the design.
